As a leader in the training of healthcare professionals, research and development in Sub-Saharan Africa, The Higher Institute of Applied Medical Sciences continues to seek highly skilled, experienced and motivated professionals from around the world who are interested in being part of our creative, innovative, stimulating and highly productive environment.

Cameroonians and other nationals may apply for permanent teaching and research positions while we highly encourage foreign based scholars and researchers to join our faculty as visiting lecturers.

Through our E-Learning facilities, foreign based lecturers may deliver courses to our students by distance learning, and only travel to Cameroon for practical sessions, and examinations.

You could also take advantage of our Professional Work Holiday Programme, that permits foreign professionals to spend their holidays in Cameroon and offer a few hours of service, while enjoying the wonder of all the touristic sites in Cameroon.

We welcome students and volunteers from other countries who wish to spend time at IAMS and other institutions/organisations in Cameroon either for academic, professional or humanitarian projects.
